Sept. 1, Oh no! Not More VA Photos.

Sorry, when I’m out for a short walk or I’m basically just testing some film or a camera the local Veteran’s Administration is one of my favorite subjects. It’s not just one building, but a campus that spans a couple blocks. To be honest, I’m as fascinated with the VA parking structures as I am with the original 1930s main structure.

Actually my neighbor designed the newer buildings on this campus.

I hadn’t shot 35mm for a while. I’d almost forgotten how fun and easy it is to just snap photo after photo.

These were shot with Film Washi S (I’m so thrilled to be able to get it again!) on my Canon IVSb2 rangefinder with the Voigtlander (Cosina) 21mm Color Skopar lens. This roll was developed in Artemisianol for 19 minutes, as it was the third roll I’ve developed with this bottle of Artemisianol and I’ve been increasing development time by 2 minutes for every subsequent roll. I probably could have not increased the development time as these shots were a little overdeveloped, but I like that look anyway.
