July 2, Two Very Different Faux Galletita (Cracker) Photos

Both are from my Cámara Galltetita Lumen and both use faux galletita “lenses” made from aluminum foil. The first is a somewhat random distribution of pinholes on the 5.5″x3″ foil the second is columns of relatively narrow vertical slits on the foil that have been partially obscured with ink and acrylic paint. Both are on the usual Arista photo paper.

This is a 7 hour exposure of the back of our house, the cámara was facing northwest.
This is a 2 hour plus exposure facing towards the setting sun, if you know what to look for, you can see our backyard fence in the lower half of the photo and our neighbor’s house just beyond.
