My neighbor Shaun’s house is so photogenic that I think I would be happy to photograph it exclusively. It’s cloudy in Reno today so this was a 15 minute + exposure.
Jorge had suggested that I use hot water to soak the photo paper that Lumenbox uses, to bring out more color artifacts from the black and white paper. Today I tried really hot water (almost boiling), but it didn’t bring out any more colors than ordinary hot water.
I was a little afraid of getting the water so hot that the emulsion would melt, but now I recall getting interesting results in souping film by using boiling water. I may try boiling water tomorrow just to see what happens.
